Fixrli - Payments, Fees, and Refund Policy

This Payments, Fees, and Refund Policy (“Policy”) is an integral part of the Fixrli Terms of Use and is incorporated therein by reference. It governs the financial transactions conducted through the Fixrli platform (“Platform”).
1. General Payment Terms
Fixrli utilizes a third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”), to handle all financial transactions. By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by Stripe’s terms of service. All funds are held and processed by Stripe. Fixrli is not a bank and does not offer banking services.
2. Fees
Fixrli may charge fees for the use of its services. All applicable fees will be disclosed to you prior to you confirming a transaction. The current fee structure is as follows and is also detailed on our public “Pricing” page.
2.1. For Property Owners / Managers (“Clients”)
Facilitation Fee: For each job awarded to a Contractor, the Client will be charged a non-refundable Facilitation Fee. This fee is calculated as a percentage of the total job cost plus a fixed transaction fee, subject to a minimum amount as specified on our Pricing page. This fee helps cover payment processing costs and the operation of the Platform.
2.2. For Contractors
Commission Fee: For each job completed and paid out through the Platform, Fixrli will deduct a Commission Fee from the Contractor’s payout. This fee is calculated using a graduated, tiered structure based on the total job cost. Different percentage rates apply to different portions of the job’s value, ensuring a fair commission that scales with the size of the project. The specific tiers are detailed on our Pricing page. A minimum commission amount applies to all jobs.
2.3. Subscription Fees
Users who subscribe to premium tiers will be billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) in advance of the service period. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
3. Job Funding & Payouts
Funding: Clients must fund the full amount of a job, including the Facilitation Fee, upon awarding it to a Contractor. These funds are held securely by our payment processor until the job is approved as complete.
Payouts: Upon a job’s completion and approval by the Client, the funds (less the applicable Commission Fee) will be released and transferred to the Contractor’s connected payout account. Payout schedules are subject to the terms of our payment processor.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
Cancellations Before Work Begins: If a job is canceled by mutual agreement before the Contractor has started work, the Client may be eligible for a full refund of the job cost. The Facilitation Fee is non-refundable.
Disputes & Partial Refunds: In the event of a dispute, refunds will be handled in accordance with our Dispute Resolution Policy. Partial refunds may be issued by Fixrli at its sole discretion after a review of the dispute.
Chargebacks: You are responsible for any chargebacks or payment disputes initiated with your bank or credit card company.
5. Changes to Fees
Fixrli reserves the right to change its fee structure at any time. We will provide you with advance notice of any fee changes. Your continued use of the Platform after a fee change becomes effective constitutes your agreement to pay the modified fee amount.
